It’s been six months since I started writing this series and I’m proud to say I’ve only missed one week.
I haven’t written since… it’s probably only been two weeks but it feels like years. I use the WW Achievement Tracker and a couple of months ago, it looked like my fiction word count surpassed my nonfiction word count. That didn’t make sense at the time and it doesn’t make sense now. I feel like I haven’t written. I can’t point to any specific thing I wrote and say, “yes, this is fiction that I created this year.” But here I sit on nearly 50k and for someone in the Sahara of a dry spell, it’s kinda great.

Don’t get all excited, I didn’t write this week either. In fact, there is zero chance I would know what day it is without my timesheet. I’m several weeks behind schedule but ready or not, here come the Games. Still, the ideas I have for this portion are inspired (at least I think they are) and if I can find a spare moment, I might put pen to paper.
